What is CakeSafe®?

CakeSafe® is a plastic and Plexiglas transportation box for delivering any fully assembled tiered cake. In addition to keeping your Cake Safe, you can:

  • Deliver your wedding cake, birthday cake, or any specialty cake, and bring the entire box back with you so there is nothing to retrieve after your delivery.
  • Schedule multiple cake deliveries for the same day using the same box.
  • Assemble your tiered cakes in your own shop without the time pressure of being in the venue, and having little recourse if something “goes wrong”.
  • Save a tremendous amount of time by allowing yourself to finish an entire cake in house; there is no need to assemble your cake on site!

The key to this product is in both the design of the box and the center stabilizing rod which is guided through the center of the cake then secured at both the top and the bottom of the CakeSafe box.

How to Safely Deliver cakes using the CakeSafeTM Transportation System

The CakeSafe® is a plastic box that has four sides that hinge together and lock into a sturdy high density plastic base. With the cake in the box, the top of the box is placed over the sides and then locked in place with four metal tabs. Then a guide piece is placed in the top and a stainless steel rod (⅜" thick) is pushed down thru the cake and the base, securing your cake in the center of the CakeSafe®. You can now safely deliver your tiered cake to the venue. Once you've arrived, the box easily disassembles, the stainless rod is removed, and you can cover the small hole with buttercream or whatever top you're using. The entire assembly and disassembly process takes no more than 2 minutes.
